Sci-fi MMO shooter game for PC
Titanfall 2 is a premium action game for PC developed by Respawn Entertainment. It's the highly anticipated sequel to the popular MMO first-person shooter, Titanfall. Set in the distant future, players take on the role of a rifleman piloting a specialized exosuit on a mission to stop an attack on a militia base.
Building upon the original Titanfall game, the Titanfall sequel boasts a new single-player campaign mode to complement its online multiplayer experience. It also brings a host of new mechs to pilot and abilities to unlock and utilize to get an edge in the heat of battle.
Wall runs and mech suits
The Titanfall franchise puts the player on Frontier, a newly found and developing planet on the fringes of space. Complete objectives using a variety of tools, weapons, and abilities. Fight the fight on foot, or call down a Titan from space, which are mechanized war machines featuring devastating weapons and defenses. Pilot it directly, or give commands remotely as you work together in tandem.
In comes the Titanfall 2 sequel, bringing that same fluid and thrilling combat, with some nice key additions. There's now a single-player campaign to flesh out the game's sci-fi story and lore. Level your character up, unlock new equipment, and control one of nine titans, of which six are new. Utilizing your abilities like wall-running and agile movements to complement your specialized grappling hook to help you complete objectives.
This sequel also features multiple new maps with destructible environments. Combined with a slew of different guns and grenades, as well as the verticality of its traversal makes for a fluid and thrilling experience. Really, the only thing about this sequel that is not outright better than its predecessor is the subpar narrative, which feels like an afterthought to everything else in the game.
A stellar sequel
Put simply, Titanfall 2 brings improvement across the board over its predecessor in pretty much every single aspect. More customization and weapon options, new maps, and a single-player mode that will attract a new group of gamers who prefer solo experiences. The story itself is nothing to write home about, but everything else makes up for its shortcomings. It gets an easy recommendation.
